I know it's blasphemy but I don't really want to see the Goats anymore. I'm not going to judge you if you go instead of going to megacon. I can only hope I have enough money to pay for the con. If not then I'm up a creek, but I can't really do anything about that.

It really has a lot to do with money, and also Megacon happens every year. And I plan on not only going to the Star Wars Celebration but Dragon*Con as well. I would rather save for those bigger events than go to MegaCon and miss the Mountain Goats, who are monumentally important to me.

As far as you possibly not having enough money, I don't think not being able to afford Megacon puts you up a creek necessarily.

Not only is it too far - which it really is, Harvest of Hope is out in the middle of nowhere - I cannot afford to do both events. Even if I just bought a day pass for one or the other, I would not be able to afford it. It's one or the other. :(

I am leaning towards seeing John Darnielle. Who knows when he will be back, you know?

Oh man, that really sucks! I know if it was my favorite band playing I don't know what I'd do. :( At least you have a bit of time still to decide though, right?

I do have a bit of time to decide, which is good. I am also going to talk it out at length with the wonderful lady who is coming here. She has been incredibly understanding thus far and I am so thankful for that.
