   ... is exactly what the Czech translation of Biggles on Borneo, which I finished yesterday, was. The translation is so pitiful that you can't even feel angry with the translator.

hmmmm. I think maybe Algy does know about biggles' built in engines.
perhaps Biggles had landed on 'horny water' and proceeded to demonstrate?

(what's really sad is now I have crack!fic running around my head. oh dear. There's enough of that in this fandom already...)
