It had taken time to work up the daring needed to do this, Relena had spent a week planning it out. Finally deciding to go through with it, she had slipped into the spare room of her apartment and picked out one of Heero's button downs and slipped it on before going to wait for him on the couch.
She found it rather endearing that the pilot had come to be so ease in her apartment. The first few weeks of visiting he'd always perform a full sweep before anything else. So when he finally noticed her she smiled and crossed her legs (trying not to feel so self conscious about the fact that they were completely bare).
Heero's expression when he'd turned around had been his usual neutral, slightly-furrowed browed look; as soon as the sight hit him his eyes had widened slightly into something almost disturbed. The hand holding his coffee mug stayed steady, but didn't dare move towards his lips- frozen with the rest of his expression.
It wasn't that he felt threatened, or upset, or even concerned, really; he was just awfully confused.
Rising to her feet, repeating a silent mantra of Don't stumble, don't stumble... she walked over to him; keeping that coy smile the whole time. She had expected him to be surprised; she was still surprised she'd worked up the courage to do this.
"...Well... yes. But why are you wearing one of my shirts...?" He slowly mumbled in response, eyes wandering slightly lower, despite his best efforts, before he darted them back up with an internal headslap.
