what kind of photography are you interested in?

pratt is more fine-arts and i went into pratt thinking that it was for me. i had a terrible time first semester with photo 101 and the lack of instruction from the professor. i felt i like could do the work without having to attend pratt or any college to do it. it was pretty much do whatever you want and bring stuff into class. the "critiques" were pointless since the professor/students didn't have anything good or bad to say. i'm kind of disappointed by the photo department here.
