i really don't understand finance. is it a good thing that all the investment banks are going belly up, as a recent new york times op-ed suggests? or are the financial sector's woes a harbinger of bad things to come? i could care less about wealthy wall street whiz kids, but will good honest people lose their paychecks or critical health benefits? what's really going on with all these acquisitions and bailouts?
