OMG! Freaky! This movie totally scared the hell out of me; I've never been scared like this with a film. I was literally shaking....THANK YOU for the link! *hugs*
i dont want there to be a sequel! i think it would just ruin what this film was trying to do... i mean, think about it... a sequel, that just happens to find a group of people documenting the whole thing on a camcorder? maybe if they did it documentary style, and used footage from several different cameras around town... that might be cool.
I just looked at the wikipedia article and what was mentioned about the possible sequel was that it'd be of the night from another group of characters point of view. Probably the other guy that you see on the bridge with the camera. You see briefly filming Hud filming him.
You know what I would love to see, a Sequel from the Monster's POV. I mean come on, the thing crashes in the middle of Central Park. It was obviously just here on vacation and wanted to go see Cats on Broadway. But seriously, If they do make a sequeal, it will never be as good as the original, just like Blair Witch.
Ah cool, thanks for pointing that out. I didn't look at the pic too closely.
The right half of the picture looks like at least part of the monster got blown apart though. I wonder if it can regenerate and that is why it was so hard to kill.
If they do a sequel, can they PLEASE no do the handheld camera thing? I actually got nauseated 3/4 the way through. And I do NOT have a weak stomach! :(
The voice clip at the end actually gave me an extra sense of hope. I was really REALLY upset that we're left to assume Beth and Rob Died, but hearing Rob's "It's still alive..." Suggest he's still alive to. It's kind of an odd glimmer of hope..

But how does that fit with the picture on 1-18-08 of an exploded monster carcass being eaten by gulls?
(But there does seem to be a large bite taken out of one piece. Is there a bigger mosnter out there?)
