[It has been a few days since Sai arrived, and he is more or less getting used to things, at least as much as he can. A good chunk of his time has been spent exploring the area, committing the map to memory, but now that task is mostly done with, and with no missions or Shinobi War to prepare for here...]

What do people do here, to pass the time?

At home, if I have time between missions I usually spend it at the Library or painting.

There is always preparation for the winter to be done, if you find yourself idle, good sir. But if you are asking after leisure activities, people spend time in one another's company, speak through these machines, read, sing - many different things.

Who is your Hokage, good sir? One who was my friend here several months ago spoke of wishing to become Hokage of his village, and spoke of a great lady who held the position in his own time.

As to preparations - you shall need wood for a fire, and warm blankets and clothing, a store of food, as hunting may be difficult. I have not yet wintered here, so I know not how the beasts react to such weather. Have you a proper home yet?

There may be ink in the indoor marketplace, but if there is, it could be difficult to find. Many things there are on the floors, rather than shelves, and the light is not steady.

Kakashi-senpai is about to be made Hokage. Tsunade-sama is still comatose and Danzou-sama has passed.. [Yet he is frowning after the comment because that sounds a lot like Naruto. But Naruto only just arrived..]

Your friend, from several months ago.. who was he? He sounds like my team mate, but he only arrived today.

I have been staying in a spare room of one of my team mates and another Konoha shinobi. Perhaps they will have more knowledge of what to prepare for the winter season, they have been here for quite some time.
