that's bullshit. you don't have to EAT it. they don't FORCE it down their throats. They should offer other choices as well though. like a grocery gift card and you choose what you want. BUT they attract kids to read more b/c of our overweight society. it's all a business. i've preached about this in my journal about skin care products..all the same thing

That is fucking RETARDED!!!!!!!! BookIT is the greatest. It doesn't give kids a fucking large pizza. It gives them a small, personal pan pizza. If the worst thing my kids ate a month was a personal pan pizza then I'd be doing really fucking good

i absolutely loved it!
i wish they offered the same thing in high school & college, lol.
nowadays they say anything promotes obesity,
especially in schools.
in alabama, you're not even allowed to have classroom parties anymore
& they can't serve fries but once a month in the cafeteria. =\

I probably never would have picked up a book had it not been for BookIt! Our class even won a pizza party one year for the most books read overall. There are so many OTHER factors that lead to obesity, getting a pizza every few weeks is not a major cause for concern!
