i'm watching bbc 2 and their night about brick lane and now i know why those guys have been filming in the street every sunday for the past four weeks. sclater street appeared very briefly and then pops up one of my best costumers talking for about 3 minutes about her artwork wearing her favourite dress which she bought from me, what a shock! but ( Read more... )

I watched that! well the second half. I liked some of the interviews but thought the "style" of some parts of the film was so cheesy - the reenactment bits mostly and the narration. I can't really put my finger on why I felt like that though. x

oooh! i didnt know that was on, i would have loved to see that. i watched a programme about brick lane when i was eleven and had hardly ever been to london. it looked terrifying.
