Almost six years since we met? It feels like less and it feels like sixteen. It's very strange to have someone be in my life and my heart for so long. It is teaching me good things, like that completely starting over every 2.5 years is neither necessary nor good -- some people and relationships are irreplaceable. (Nobody is replaceable, but in your case there'd be no room for even a successor
