They do, don't they?
Even with prayers, they still come with a price. The sacrifice, the pain, the story behind every decision. Then again, the reward is worth is all. Christine...I dunno what happened that makes you sad... dunno how your uni acceptances are going, but I just wanted to tell you that your post is inspiring to me...
Perhaps that's why making sacrifices is so hard; the immediate pain is hard to deal with and the reward seems so far away. Though much of this is not possible with men, it is possible with God. And I know this is just going to be a major lesson in faith. To give in my 100% faith - not "I believe when I see things working", but "I trust even when things are not going the way I want them to".
That is just what I need to hear right now.......
I'm finding internal medicine really, really horrible...and it puts me into such a bad mood this block... I guess mainly because I'm crap at it, and also because I find it so hard to give up a life for what I have to do.... but "I trust even when things are not going the way I want them to be"... thank you!!!

Hehehh thanks for the prayers! In difficult times, it's great to know that people are praying for you. And I'll do just the same for you! Just have the endurance =) God gives each one of us something we are good at, and other things we aren't so good at. That's why He created the church, and that's why we need brothers and sisters around us - to fill in what we aren't good at and work together under God as our Head.

I'm glad the post was inspiring to you! God uses all things to teach us, and it's amazing how sufferings can provide us a way to Him. So yah, use the quote! Let people know why we have faith, and moreover, let people know that our God is 100% worth it when it comes to sacrifices!
