Unfortunately, these people exist. I think it's a backlash against the progressive sharing of power that has been happening between men and women since the 60s (at least here in the States).

People don't give up absolute control easily. Ultimately, though, they will have to give up power. Are they scary? Yep. But better to be aware of them, I think.

I could go on for hours about this - I've just got started with an entire series of lessons/lectures on power and privilege. It's been interesting so far.

I knew about career inequality and completely understood an employer perspective as far as hesitance to hire a woman due to the possibility of childbirth. Not that I think it should stop them or make them pay less. I wasn't aware it was this bad though.There is a whole entry posted today about how a man should find a young, sexually inexperienced woman who he can dominate without question and how said woman should give up her youth and aspirations to breed for him when she is most fertile. I think I'm so lucky to have grown around people who laugh at this perspective.

Methinks his girlfriend/wife has just left him, probably for another woman, after hearing the crap an 'enlightened man' of 2010 spouts, and he feels the need to lash out like a petulant child against the entire gender. All women need to be free of men - a turkey baster and a nice prison to keep a few good looking/intelligent ones in, all men need to be free of women - a deathwish, and the capacity to climb down off their high horses and read the instructions for all those household gadgets they look at like they belong to aliens, yeah, like that'll happen.

From what I've read the blog owner (not the commenter I quoted) is already on wife #2 and is accusing feminists for ruining his first marriage due to their corrupting influence. You see, feminists tell women they have a life outside of the home and marriage.
