My employer tanked and I'm currently unemployed. Today I was rejected by two jobs in one day. One I had two interviews for. The other I didn't get that far. I simply did not meet the credentials needed, which is complete bull, I would not have applied if I didn't. I'm pretty bummed.

I'm in pretty much the same situation.
Except, replace "my employer tanked" with "I thought it would be a good idea to move across the country with no job lined up."

It sucks. I've really never had such a hard time finding a job. So, take heart that it's probably not you and just the general state of things.

I know it's not me, but it just so frustrating when I know I can do a job much better then the next guy. Plus I live in a city where the amount of jobs available is much less then the actual population willing to work. Boo!

Oh Sandy I am sorry to here that : (
(The only reason I have a job over the summer is because of my mom. Other than that I too would be unemployed.)
I will keep my fingers crossed that you find something.
Maybe you can try and get unemployment until something pops up...

I wish I could get unemployment. I'm a student though and in doing that one basically forgoes getting unemployment because working is not their priority.
It's nice that I have my parents to back me up, but they already do so much for me and I just hate badgering them for money.
