MANGA-RELATED

Q: Where can I buy the manga in Japanese?
A:  Yesasia (English website) and Amazon.co.jp (Japanese website) are websites to check out. For more information about ISBN, please check out the masterlist post.

Q: Where can I buy the manga in English?
A: Those from Australia and New Zealand may be able to obtain it via Madman Entertainment at their local stores. But for those who are in other regions, and are unable to find at eBay/Amazon, please do check out this post by yumihikari about shipping from Chuang Yi, who holds the license of 07-Ghost manga in English. They are not a US-based company, and instead they are from Singapore. The post contains useful information regarding shipping manga internationally.

Q: How much does each official English manga cost?
A: Different regions publish it for different prices, and if your region doesn't have it, there will be additional pricing added, like shipping costs. It has been confirmed that Chuang Yi does ship internationally so it's possible to purchase it. More information about prices at this post.

Q: What Japanese magazine serializes 07-Ghost?
A: Zero-Sum comics.

Q: When are there releases of each chapter?
A: Zero-sum is a monthly issue, so every month on the 28th, copies of the magazine will be available in Japan. It may take about 2 - 3 days of shipping (or more) before the magazine goes to some scanners.

Q: How many volumes are there so far?
A: There are 11 volumes already, in Japan, and it's still on-going.

Q: Uh...the differences between a volume and a chapter release per month and such? The publishing dates are so confusing!
A: A magazine serializes a manga series, that is to say, a chapter is published depending on when the magazine releases, and if the mangaka is listed for the release. This is applicable to a lot of other manga series.

As for 07-Ghost, it's a monthly release as stated above. That is the magazine chapter release. The volume releases are about 2 volumes per year, if you're looking at the release dates in Japan.

Each volume will comprise of 6 chapters, that is about 6 months worth of magazine releases, and thus at maximum, you will only get two RAW volume releases a year.

Q: I currently hold RAWs/magazine scans of the chapters/latest chapters! Can I post it to this community?
A: Yes, you definitely can. Please take note that you can only post them IF IT IS YOUR OWN, meaning you bought it. Or, if you have obtained permission from the original scanner to post it. Before you post, however, check that the links are actually NOT listed under the masterlist for downloads.

SCANLATION-RELATED

Q: When are the scanlations going to be released?
A: Since zero-sum is a monthly magazine, you will most likely only see a chapter ONCE A MONTH. It's also released at the end of the month so a scanlation may be made only at the 2nd week of the following month.

Q: Why are scanlations so slow?
A: ...seriously? If you ask this kind of question, then you must have missed that question just above. Having read this, we do not want to see people complaining that scanlations are slow.

Q: Who is behind the scanlations every month?
A: miss_ink_wings as editor, renji_chan as translator and yumihikari as the scanner - they were the first team. The other two are Tiramsu and Strawberry, and Fallen Syndicate did 1 chapter, but it doesn't seem to be listed as their ongoing projects.

Q: Can I re-distribute scanlations/upload onto any other online manga readers?
A: Strictly speaking, according to yumihikari, they do not wish to have scanlations uploaded onto any other online manga readers including MangaFox, MangaHere etc. Please do respect their decision.

For the other team(s), please ask them directly!

Q: I found someone who uploaded their chapters onto _______ online manga reading site!
A: Contact one of the scanlators and they will see to handling it. For the other teams, check their scanlating policies.

Q: Can I help with scanlations, like translating it to another language?
A: If you wish to, please contact miss_ink_wings instead. For the OLDER or the newer chapters, please look for the chapters' credits page and contact the groups/people behind it directly.

Q: Where are the previous chapters? I've gone back maybe about 30 entries but only see one or two chapters...
A: In this case, please search for scanlations using the "manga: scanlations" tag on the sidebar on the left. If not, head over to the masterlist for more information.

Q: Wahhhh this link is dead! Where else can I download ______ from?! D:
A: If you see it, especially at the masterlist, please leave a comment behind the very post to request for re-upload.

Q: Now I can't download from that link! Why?!
A: Sometimes MediaFire isn't so effective, give it some time. (If you can't access it for over 2 days, then it may be a problem.) If it's a region problem, meaning if the website bans your region from downloading from them, you may request an alternative host link at the very same masterlist post.

Q: Chinese raws! Why can't we call them "Chinese raws"? Why do people say "Chinese raws" anyway?
A: The word "raw" is a term that refers to the original language of the material you're talking about. If you're saying "07-Ghost raws", naturally you're referring to the Japanese language release. The Japanese language, though it has roots of the Chinese language, is still not exactly the same as Chinese. We therefore call Chinese releases "Chinese scanlations".

Q: How many episodes are there in total?
A: There are 25 in total.

Q: Where does the anime stop at in the manga?
A: It stops at volume 5, chapter 25.

Q: Will there be a second season?
A: So far, there have been NO ANNOUNCEMENTS of a second season, so please be patient and await announcements.

Q: Where can I watch/download the anime?
A: To watch, you can try this website as it also provides some download links by some users.

Q: There's something that bothers me in the anime...
A: In this case, you may create a discussion post that generates ideas and maybe character/plot development, tagging it under the "general discussion" tag for example. Do, however, note that you are to keep your conversations and discussions civil and do not start pairing/flame wars with one another. Consequences are simple: ban.

A: If you are unsure, please go over this list to which category your post will most likely fall in, and tag accordingly. Other members are also allowed to help tag the post with existing tags if the poster is unsure.
