I got my year-end review yesterday at Mervyns. I got an S+ which is basically a C+. Last year I got the highest score, an O. I didn't expect to get another O, mostly because Val left Mervyns, so someone else would be doing my review this yr. If I'm being honest, it's hard to say if I deserve a higher score or not. So I've had time to give Mars Volta "Frances the Mute" a good listen. First of all there are some great tracks on there, especially Via l'Viaquez, but overall this album could have been cut down about 20 minutes.
