so im here. in the State of KY. i had a good time in MI but it's getting hard to ignore the fact that we're all drifing apart. i'm not surprised or hurt or anything, i knew it would happen. it's just a feeling of prolonging gloom and regret. i managed to visit all my favourite places with the exception of my old house, The Rafters, and my old ( Read more... )

I really know how it is. I've got some very special places from days past that I still think about very often.

The worst, though, is when you go back to visit one of your places, and it ends up having changed for the worse. Like, into a sub-division or something along those lines.

Example: the woods behind my grandma's house in Indiana have been completely cut down for a huge sub-division. What was once a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, is now a loud, noisy, stuck-up, dreary, crime-infested wasteland. Yeesh.

Well, it's not quite THAT bad, but it's still pretty crappy.

i to have places that i love back in my indiana home, however ive let go of mine.
ive never been able to know if it was right or wrong to forget about my old home.
