Aww, nice! Did you happen to see any ice skaters there? I'm still looking for a place to do this.

thanks! No ice skaters there, but we saw hardly any people at all the whole day. We went to Potsdam last weekend though and from the train, near Grunewald area, you could see loads of skaters on the lake, I think maybe it was Hundekehlesee, but not certain.

The lighting is gorgeous.

I wish we had some snow! It's bitter cold, but we've only had a bit of sleet here and there. We might get some snow tomorrow. I know what you mean though, after a while it gets annoying. Especially once it gets old and not so pretty. Michaela mentioned how cold it is there. I was surprised! Keep warm!

It's snowing right now, but it's those big beautiful flakes that rarely last for very long. We used to get lots of snow here, when I was younger. Now we are on the borderline; an hour or so north there is usually a fair amount of snow, but we usually end up with just a wintry mix that ends up being a lot of slush. :(

Oh your photos have made me gasp !!! Nature is so beautiful !

I have to say tho that my favs are the Gate and Reichstag as it seems eerie to see all that snow in front of them like that.

LOVE all the pics !

These are awesome. I really like the second and the forth.

They said on TV that this is one of the coldest winters in Germany. Couple of days ago it was -17 Celsius in the morning, here.

thanks, those are my faves too. I'm hoping the cold spell is over for now, at least the -17c temps. I just had to go outside and clear some snow off the garden for the cats, they're going crazy and climbing everywhere in the house now, just desperate to run around outside again.
