Title: And They Never Knew!
Rating: PG-13 for cursing
No Spoilers, Brian/Justin, Queer as Folk US
Summary: Brian and Justin have met before. Even though they never knew!
This is one of their short encounters. Vaguely sweet, mindless, fun to write, fluffy.

Inspired by malli_ who seemed to have some problems in the train today. *G* Don't worry, nothing to be ashamed off. =P
Drink your Baileys, and worry about what you are going to do tomorrow! Today is a Thursday dedicated to mindless drinking entirely! And phone sex, maybe. ;)

Brian was on his way to Atlanta with Michael and Emmett, the newest addition of the group. He figured that it was better than spending his complete holidays at home in the Pitts, where all he could do was study, fuck, suck, blow, rim…

Shit. Why the fuck hadn’t he stayed at home?!

While Michael and Emmett held a contest of who could reach their seats first, Brian trailed behind. He was too hang-over for running, or screaming, or screeching.

Not that he was ever awake enough for screeching.

His friends had stormed off around a corner when a bright, polite voice suddenly asked:

“Excuse me, Sir?”

Brian turned around to see a young blond child looking at him shorty before lowering his eyes.

Great. Just what he needed. Another fucking kid.

“I’m sorry for bothering you, but do you think you could help me open that door, please?”

The blond pointed towards the hermetic doors which separated their wagon from the first class. Bright blue eyes lifted again to snuck a glance at Brian, the young face seeming hopeful.

“Sure.”

Brian managed to open the door within seconds, which brought a pretty blush to the boy’s cheek.

But nobody was that much of a chicken hawk.

“Thanks!”, the kid exclaimed enthusiastically, smiling so brightly at Brian that he had to blink for a second. “I don’t know why, but I couldn’t get it to open. Seems I didn’t pull strongly enough. That was really nice of you though, thank you! I was just trying to get some paper from the loo in the other wagon ‘cause there wasn’t any in ours and my mommy told me to never…”

It was either Brian’s very amused grin or the fact that the kid noticed that he had said something very embarrassing and talked like a waterfall - anyway, he blushed a little more and mumbled: “Anyway. Thank you very much, Sir.”

And then the blond sneaked through the door like a weasel and towards a blonde woman who pulled a man behind her, their fingers intertwined. She seemed vaguely familiar.

In the second before the door closed shut, Brian heard her voice calling for her son:

“Justin!”

I participated in the day of silence yesterday. The reactions I got weren't very pretty. Surprisingly, people I didn't expect to understand my reasons understood my reasons rather than people I expected to. Many of my friends basically told me I was crazy for being silent for homosexuals who can't come out instead of being silent for e. g. foreigners who are hurt and discriminated for their origin. They also said that it wasn't necessary to do anything to protect homosexuals against discrimination because there, apparently, was none of that.

I've been searching the internet today for statistics, something to show, something to prove them that they are wrong and that homosexuals are being discriminated. Not only in the USA, but in Germany too.
I guess that partly, I was trying to prove that to myself to. *is quietly ashamed of that*
I've stumbled across a very interesting fact: 50 % experience illegal behaviour when they're in public with a partner. 65 % experience illegal behaviour when they're in public alone. "Illegal behaviour" includes insults, physical violence (shoving, spitting, grabbing, beatings, rape etc. etc.) and help that wasn't provided.

I'm pretty sure though that numbers won't make it into anyone's head.

Now I'm going to go see my grandma. Hoping she'll stay around long enough to be my children's grandgrandmother.
