Oh dear, if I'm reading it correctly, Merlin is continuosly keeping the immortals away from them/killing them one by one as they approach (the reason for episodes of calm vs seizures)?

The last line is a testament to how much more emotionally attached Arthur is to Merlin than to anyone else in the story. Which I believe is true in canon as well.

Fantastic job, as usual, what a cliffhanger at the end. Thank you!

PS: Have my hand raised really, really high, desperate for the reveal (somehow don't think BBC will deliver - sigh). Nor do I think their storyline will be as emotionally charged as your story.

Yep, you got it figured out! :) I know, not the most original of all ideas, but I'm just a sucker for Merlin working powerful magic. I desperately want to see an epic Merlin vs Morgause magic!battle on Sat, but somehow I doubt it's going to happen. :/

Bloody hell yeah. It is time! I mean, I get what they're saying when they say 'keeping the magic secret' is an integral part of the show, but all good TV shows have to develop and move on at one point, otherwise audiences will get bored eventually.
