I think we're going through some of the same sort of thing...try not to let it affect the rest of your life. Because as my teacher told me today, depression can seriously mess you up.
Have you tried talking to your teacher about it outside of regular lesson time? I know someone who, when they were trying to fix their embouchure and their sound, would go into our flute professor's room and just play long tones for about 10-15 minutes a day during her office hour. So while Dr. Gustafson would be at her computer writing and reading emails, she could comment on my friend's playing and tell her what she ought to do, like open the throat more, drop the jaw, et cetera. My friend told me it helped immensely. I don't know if your professor does that--maybe you should ask? I would hope they'd be willing to make time for their students like that.
