No, there is no way I'm letting you stay at my leaking school by yourself. Whatever it is, whatever happened, you can come and stay in me and Kingsley's guest room.

Yes, no, well, I'm on the mend, as it were. Well--there was a sort of break in, and I think the bloke was watching me---and we fought, but I don't think it's a good idea for me to stay.

Dorcas---that's very thoughtful of you, but I couldn't possibly impose on you two, besides I don't want you to get hurt at my expense.

A break in? A fight? You're hurt?! EMMELINE, what the hell happened?! Start from the beginning, please!

What? Oh hell no. You're coming to stay with us. Kingsley will completely understand, and you'll be in our guest room. We're trying to work through things, but you'll hardly get in our way. Please, Em, it'll make me feel better.

I'm fine--I bandaged myself up fine for now. I---I was running some errands and I was grabbing some things when I realized I forgot my list. So I went home to get it, and the door was open, and my stuff was ripped up and broken---Binx was on the ceiling! And I saw one of those nutters looking through the stuff at my desk. I light everything up, so he couldn't see it, but I think he saw something about the fire I wrote up. And then we sorta, fought.

I---Just tell him first yeah? I know, and--you promise I won't be in the way. I, it'll just be until I can find some place to live. Hopefully not alone.
