Sometimes, in the morning when I wake up and I can feel Gideon's heart beating next to me if I keep my eyes closed, or even just focus on him I can forget everything else. Forget that everyday we put our lives on the line, that there are people out there who don't even know us, who haven't even heard of us but hate us and would most likely kill us on principle without a second thought.
