3 tutorials

hi guys! i've been hiatus for a while. really busy with university, work & icon challenge communities!
i have a tiny batch of icons, plus 3 tutorials.
here are the tutorials!

~ please don't claim any icons you made with this colouring your own, be nice :)
~ all these icons will be in the next post, but if you take any please credit me.
~ all are made with photoshop CS

1. AVATAR

to

1. with your base, duplicate 3 times. set first to screen, second to screen & third soft light.
2. create a new layer and fill with #0E1342 set to exclusion 100%
3. create a new layer and set this to pink #EBAEE6 at multiply 100%
4. create a new adjust layer, curves, set to > input 103, output 111
5. create a new adjust layer, selective colour, reds -95, blues cyan +81, magenta +55, yellow +17, black 0
6. flatten image and duplicate your base.
7. set to sharpen and adjust the opacity to your liking.
8. DONE!

2. LONDON 1

to

1. duplicate base and set to screen and soft light, this depends on the quality & darkness of your base
2. create a new layer & fill with #fef798, set to soft light 100%
3. here comes the selective colour. first adjust layer;
reds: -100, +5, -10, +5
yellows: -100, -100, -100, -100
neutrals: +20, -5, +15, -20

4. create another adjust selective colour layer;
reds: -5, +75, +20, +30
yellows: -100, +35, +5, +35
neutrals: +35, +25, -5, +15

5. create a new layer and fill with #030829 at exclusion

6. another selective colour layer;
reds: -100, +15, +5, 0
yellows: -90, +5, +10, +30
neutrals: +30, 0, -35, 0

7. next create a new layer, a dark red colour (i used E95558) and set to overlay. adjust the opacity to your liking, again i used 100%.

8. sharpen if needed.

3. LONDON 2

to

1. duplicate your base 3 times. screen, screen & soft light.
2. create a new layer, fill with #fef798 at soft light 100%
3. create a new selective colour layer and set at;
reds -100, +5, -10, +5
yellow -100 +68 0 0
neutrals -300 -12 -15 +13

4. create another selective colour layer, set at;
reds +57 +35 +54 +22
yellow -38 +30 +14 +4
neutral +53 +12 +68 +14

5. create a new layer and fill with dark blue. i used #0E1342 and set it at exclusion 100%
6. create a new hue/sat layer on red, edit master red, set to -12, +40, -8
7. sharpen if needed
