Weeee!

So I took the Greyhound in to Langley today and met up with nykad today, and it can be summed up in a single word. That word is: FANTABULOUS! Exclaimation point and all. We walked around Willowbrook mall for a bit and bought CDs and went to Toys R Us for a nerdy, geeky good time. We ended with lunch at Red Robins, which was good, only I felt kinda ( Read more... )

Yay! I miss the days of wandering the mall and buying CDs. But it's basically useless to me now, because they're all copy-protected and thus I can't convert them onto my ipod. It's sorta lame, because I like buying music.

Glad you had fun--I miss Red Robin. I haven't been in about a year. They do have fabulous burgers. Cody never wants to go because he isn't often in the mood for burgers (I know, it doesn't make sense) so we go somewhere that has everything, like Moxie's. Often we end up at Romeo's pizza, because that is one thing we agree on--anytime is pizza time!

I haven't had any food yet today. Maybe that's why I'm so focussed on this about your entry!

Hehehe. Yeah I had a great time. Red Robins was yummy - I wish my appetite had been big enough so I could've eaten all of it, but oh well. Maybe next time.

And can't you just rip your CDs onto your computer and convert them into mp3s or something? I can do that with all of my CDs. But then again, my mp3 player isn't an iPod.

Oh--new CDs are all copy-protected to the hilt. I can rip my old discs no problem and it'll just copy to the ipod as an m4a file, usually. But new music is all crazy. I can copy it to my computer, if I'm lucky, but that's it. Ipods are lame for that.

I really should get some food. I just can't make myself get up off my computer-age trademark iron ass.

Hi, you don't know me but I have a question for you. I was searching the web and found Sile Gaughan's name in your journal. I knew her when she was much younger and I've been wondering what she has been up to. Do you have her email address? If you don't want to give it to me..maybe you could give mine to her... tell me what you think. I would love to get in touch with her again. Hopefully you can help.

Thanks.

Hi...uhm, unfortunately I don't have her email address or anything. I wish I did, though. Usually I just run into her every few months or so for a brief period of time.
