I am living hideously far far too close to this really amazing chocolate shop. Like seriously, it could cripple my budget if I'm not careful and deliberately avoid walking in that direction all the time. They probably wouldn't deliver too far out because of the whole SUPER FRESH OM NOM NOM thing, but if you ever find yourself in western Canada,

Interestingly, I was wiki-ing this stuff recently and found out something weird. The Bulmers you guys have is a completely different brand than the Bulmers that is also widely popular in britain, and the name similarity is just like a bizarre coincidence. So I've probably never tried that one, but all the mainstream brands do taste pretty similar.

And if you're in LA, odds are you'll be able to find it SOMEWHERE anyway, just not as easily. There's a really posh liquor store downtown in my city with lots of ridiculously expensive wines, and I totally loled when I saw the Bulmers right next to all these really smart beers - presumably it's been poshified here because it's ~imported~. : D

Huh... that's interesting about the Magners, I wouldn't have guessed it tastes all that different either. : o Which absolutely should not be an excuse to try to import in some extra special irish cider in the Interest Of Science.... um.

One of the weird quirks I hadn't factored in to an earlier budget is that the cost of food is a lot higher here. Which isn't so good in terms of food, but hey, it makes the booze look a lot cheaper by comparison. :D
