Well I thought I'd post the German Alternative Charts listings for the year so you all can see how the artists ranked. If you are looking for some new/fresh music, this is a great list to check out.

i disagree with NIN up there. that album SUCKED

I'm amazed VNV sold so well, that album was decent at best, on a good day.

I totally agree...

This is the top 20 singles and top 10 albums based on sales and club/radio play in Europe, since we all suck in America and listen to EMO...

To tell you the truth, I would check out the compilation albums Extended Electronics Vol. 2 and Fxxk The Mainstream. They in my opinion are the best "albums" of the year. I'm also a Skinny Puppy traditionalist and not so much into the new stuff.

But this doesn't even mention And One's "Bodypop" or SITD's "Bestie Mench" which I would select as best albums of the year.

On second thought...add Rotersand's "1023", that's would be up there for me.

Bestie Mench is awesome. i just wished metropolis carried the import. I wonder if vedetta records has the 2cd import of that?
