Summary: Yoochun makes Changmin eat ice cream in a hammock with him
Yoochun wiggles his toes next to Changmin's and feels satisfied at the disgruntled grunt he gets in return.
“Don't make me regret coming out here with you,” Changmin dips his spoon into the bucket of ice cream and shoves it into his mouth before saying, “It's bitter cold and this hammock is damp, and it has mud all over it and-.”
“Relax babe,” Changmin glares at him.
“Minnie...”
Changmin glares at him harder, if that is even possible.
“I mean Changmin,” Changmin almost starts to smile, “-nie.”
“That's it, I'm going back in.”
Changmin tries getting off the hammock and only succeeds in flipping said hammock over and crashing Yoochun and him together in a mess of entangled bodies.
“Damn Changmin, the night is still young, no need to get frisky so soon.”
Changmin almost hits Yoochun but decides against it and settles down next to him on the ground.
The stars are clear tonight and Changmin stares at the sky in contentment.
“What are you thinking about, Changmin?”
Changmin sighs, “I'm thinking about that strawberry swirl ice cream I was eating that is now mushed on the ground.”
Yoochun almost laughs, of course Changmin would be thinking about his food.
“Well you can still eat it, the part that's not directly in the dirt, thats' still good.”
Changmin throws him a look of disgust, “I'm not eating that filthy thing.”
Yoochun rolls his eyes, “I don't see why not, I mean it's not so bad, it's just-”
“Yoochun, I love you,” Changmin interrupted.
Yoochun could have cried, he swear he almost had a heart attack, “WHY SO SUDDEN?”
Changmin plays with the grass, and he senses a faint blush upon his cheeks, “I wanted to say it, and now seemed like a good time, right?”
Yoochun gave him a small smile, “Sure whatever you say Changmin.”
Changmin frowned at him, “I'm being serious! We've been together for a while now, and I don't think I've ever actually said those words to you.”
“So now was the best time?” Yoochun raised an eyebrow, “When there is melting ice cream all over us, and a broken hammock entangled between our legs?”
“Stop making fun of me, I wasn't thinking about our situation when I said it,” Changmin turned pink, maybe this wasn't the best time afterall.
Yoochun chuckled, and Changmin groaned internally, knowing he was probably going to be ridiculed all night long. Why did he come out here again?
Changmin covered his face in his hands, feeling mortified beyong belief. He rolled over onto Yoochuns body and buried his face onto his chest.
Yoochun hugged Changmin to him tightly, “You're super cute, you know that?”
“Don't call me cute.”
“You're super cute.”
“Park Yoochun, do you want to die”
“Stop ruining the moment,”
“I love you.”
And even though Yoochun has said it many times, the words made Changmin's heart flutter each time. He blushed slightly and buried his face in Yoochuns chest again.
“I know...I love you too.”
