This is a repost from the Blogspot account that I started today. We just discovered that my niece's little boy, three years old, was diagnosed with leukemia. I'm posting her blogspot on all of my internet places in hopes that those so inclined will add their prayers and good wishes to ours for this darling child.

Hugs to you and your family. I send all my good thoughts and positive energy for a speedy recovery. It sounds like from your niece's post he has a lot in the plus column, but still it's scary. I can't even imagine anything like that happening to my child, at any age. More hugs.

Thanks so much, my dear friend. It IS big scary stuff... and all I can keep thinking of is that sweet little face, and that adorable little voice. And his sweet, loving mother - by far one of the most beautiful, loving people in our family.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your good thoughts and wishes on his behalf... it's just the worst nightmare a mother could possible have, isn't it? I know, though, that their family is strong, and they have so many people pulling for them. I just figured that a few more surely couldn't hurt, right?

It is sad, horrific... scary stuff. And what makes it worse is that this little guy is such a sweetheart - achingly adorable - and, as his mom said in her post, has been from his first breath. The "mom" in me just cringes at what they're going through, y'know?

I can't thank you enough for the positive energy, you are SUCH a sweetheart and I just know that every little bit will help SO VERY MUCH!!

Thank you SO VERY MUCH, sweetheart!! My heart is still in my throat over this one, since he DOES remind me so much of my son at that age.
