DOME OREGATO MR. ROBOTO.

Jul 30, 2005 20:04

i just got back from my little cousin Manuel's house. boy, that kid sure does wear me out. i must've given him a million piggy back rides.

earlier today, when i rolled out of bed at 1:40, i rubbed my eyes and went to my laptop to find a note on top that read...

CARMEN,

As soon as you get up,

call me at abuela Carmen's

so we can get that stuff we need.

Love you,

Mom.

which made me laugh at my own predictability. she knew i would go straight to the computer as soon as i woke up.

then i called mom, got dressed, went online then went to grandma's. that was where little Manuel was waiting for me and my piggy back rides. he went with me and mom to the store to buy some stuff and was a major hassle, and then we went and took him to the park where he wanted a couple dozen more piggy back rides, digging his heels into my sides as if i was a real horse and screaming 'YEEHAW!', i eventually gave up on entertaining him and just swung on the swing while he whined. then, when we decided that it was time to take him home, he insisted that i go and see his apartment, of course, i've seen it before, he was just a baby though so he didnt remember. we watched the Incredibles and then he released me from his iron grip and let me leave with my mother.

i was starving and we dont have any food at home, so mom took me to McDonalds, where she had a conversation with the man behind the counter in French. my mom truley amazes me sometimes, i swear, if the guy behind the counter knew Japanese my mom would be like 'dome oregato!' lol.

well, Ariel just told me that i wouldnt be able to see anyone the day im in CT, and that's pretty saddening, but it could be worse, i could not go.
