Ok, I'll try to answer. In 1 and 14 this, this, and this tut have been taken for a basis. And then I added curves layer, selective color and played with brightness/contrast. It really depends on each picture.
But If it's still necessary for you, I can try to make tutorial in more details =)

These are really well done. Great use of texture. My favourites are 11, for the dramamtic black and white, the use of repetition with your image, and the fantastic texture, as well as 13, for the beautiful colouring (it's so beautiful, I want!), the creative and imaginative cropping, and the spotty texture (may I ask where you found it?).
