David Bowie and life (updated)
OK Bowie fucking rocked last night. He played a ton of songs, most of my favorites. Highlight of the evening for me, he mentioned Kurt Cobain's cover of man who sold the world and said he was touched by it. Go Bowie, I was so stoked. He also covered the a Pixies tune. And played at least one song of the 4 most recent disks, 2 off earthling.
Funny thing of the night, about 4 rows in front of us there was this like 12 yr old girl that had no sense of rhyth what so ever trying to dance and clap along , it was fairly comical. She actually reminded me of the character Cecile from Cruel Intentions (the silly virgin girl).
k back to Bowie, he played all my favorite songs and as soonas I find one I will put up a set list. He played Sister Midnight which I hadn't heard in forever, an awesome version of station to station, and Ziggy Stardust as the final song in the encore.

as previously stated the concert was amazing and I would go back in a heart beat. anais921 was fantastic company and I actually liked the opening band Polyphonic Spree thought their sound man should be fired, the levels were horrible. I also found out that other legs of the tour had the stereophonics as opening act, I kinda wish we had seen them they rock but they really are a headlining band.
Which brings me to the person I would have liked to have had with me at the concert but unfortunately she couldn't make it. As many of you know heartovmidnight and I are together as boyfriend and girlfriend. She combined with my incredible fortune of free Bowie tickets and others that I will get to visit are making June one of the best monthes ever.
She is absolutely compatible with me though we do have our differences. She makes me truly happy and I believe I have same affect on her (which is the best part). The few days I have spent with her in person are some of the best in my life. She has introduced me to new things and takes the sting of the things I never really enjoyed before.
She is responsible for me experiencing the absolute best emotions and feelings in my life and I hope it continues
Anyway why this month is fantastic because of her. She is actually going to be in my arms in less than 8 days to come visit me here, this is a big deal because we had originally thought the trip would be cancelled. And then a mere 2 weeks from her arrival I get to visit her for an entire 2 weeks and hang out with a great group of people I have met up there that I would like to get to know further. I also get to experience my first Canada Day which is awesome, and maybe going camping. All in all it should be an excellent trip and an excellent beginning to a great summer.
