http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Zerohttp://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Mega_Man_X_series Personality:
Just by seeing him, you know that Zero is a person who is more suited to be "that guy standing in the corner being emo" rather than "badass Maverick Hunter who can and will defeat anything that stands in his way." He prefers leaning on a wall and being cool rather than enjoying animated conversations. This doesn't mean that he's a distant guy though, as Zero can be rather sociable, when you actually invest some of your time in actually being the one to start a conversation with him, while at first you won't get much besides a few phrases or two, you might find that as his interest on you grows, he'll actually start talking in longer sentences. Though, that's as far as you go, as you will find that even after a while, he still would not trust you with anything important yet.
To those he is already close with (Canonically, X only at his current point), Zero is still not that much of a talker, although he's more liable to give his opinions on subjects that involves his friend. Not only that, he always puts their safety as one of his highest concerns, sure he doesn't show it, but explain all these times in canon that he came to X's rescue and even sacrificing himself just so X can defeat Sigma (This happened twice in his current canon point.), he also disapproves of people sacrificing their life for his sake and will, in fact, blame himself if something like that ever happens.
While Zero might be one of the strongest Maverick Hunters, he never really views himself as a hero the job hyped him up to be. In fact, he thinks that he really doesn't deserve to be called a 'hero' even after all is said and done, due to his involvement in several incidents that made him who he is today, he even still blames himself for what had happened to Iris during the 4th Maverick War against the Repliforce. Truthfully, he views X as a hero because X's kind heart and strong will to gain peace not through violence is something he admired within the person.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
+Swordmaster, he's able to do many things if he got his hands on a sword.
+Determination, he has a very high determination that he often puts to good use in battles that have a low probability for him to win.
+Humble, doesn't really view himself as a hero, even with his popularity back in the base.
+Advanced Robot, he is not a human, but rather a very advanced robot with a complex AI that can think and do whatever it likes.
-Does not work well with strangers, he doesn't really like socializing that much.
-Lives in the past, still blames himself over what happened to his loved ones in previous wars
-Not exactly a peaceful person, in comparison to the protagonist, who tries to end the conflict through peaceful ways, he is okay with destroying former colleagues if that will help the world achieve peace.

First Person Sample:
[Hey look, there's a long-haired blonde man staring at the screen with a perplexed look.]
...So.
[He doesn't say anything much, but he then stepped away to show a very impressive scene.
There are three Pokemon in this screen. Two of which are standing apart from each other, a Scyther and a Pidgeotto, they're...
Playing volleyball and destroying their surroundings due to the ridiculous moves they pull. The reason the ball has not burst from the abuse?
Yeah, it has a pair of beady eyes, signifying its a Ditto.]
Whoever had the smart idea of teaching both of them how to play Volleyball and that it should be played indoors are due for a punishment.
This means you, Axl.
Third Person Sample:
Zero shivered. It has been 3 hours already, and there's still no sight of the next city, which is quite problematic, considering that he's only wearing a jacket over his shirt and just plain jeans as his main travelling clothes (his armor is cumbersome in really not helpful in this setting).
"...I should've accepted that offer when I was about to head out."
There was no use complaining about that out loud, but since there's no one around him anyways, why not? Its not like someone will suddenly pop out from the wood and ambush him, right?
A crash resounded and Zero took a leap backwards when the tree in front of him was cut into two pieces and fell right before his eyes.
"W-what the...?"
"SCYTHEEEEER"
As if answering his question, the attacker dropped down into view, revealing itself to be a pissed off Scyther, which immediately readies its sickle-like arms and charges at the robot turned human with a very loud battle cry that includes its own name.
"Tch, so you want a fight?"
He sent out one of his most trusted companion so far in order to counter Scyther's most recent attempt of chopping Zero into two. Said companion is a Ditto, which transformed into another Scyther and met Scyther's blades with its own.
"Well, you got it!"
Both Pokemon break away as soon as possible, and then charged forward again, causing another blade clash to occur. This continues on for a while as their trainer watches the green bug for any opening he can exploit.
Wait for it...
Again, another few clashes.
...He can see it.
Even if the window is pretty small, he can see it, an opening right there!
"NOW!"
And the Ditto turned Scyther charged forward for another slash! Except this time it zipped up as the real Scyther slashed again, and zipped down right on time to slash through the Scythers back!
A cry of pain resounded, and the Scyther is now just lying there on the ground wounded, while the Ditto transforms back into a pink blob.
It didn't take long for the Scyther to be captured, and for Zero to gain yet another companion in this so-called 'Johto'
