(no subject)

Do you have a belly ring?
-Of course!
-Used to.
-No but I'm DYING to get one!
-EW! No way -- totally tacky!

1. You get a bad grade on your biology test, and it drops you to a B- average. You:
-feel bad about it all day.
-are bummed but commit to concentrating more in class and are fully over it by English.
-immediately decide to get your bio-wiz bud to tutor you and make the subject more fun.

2. When your guy breaks up with you after weeks of signs that the relationship is over, you:
-feel bad for a few hours, then grab your two best friends for a giggle fest as you think of all the reasons
-are devastated--if he doesn't want you, no one will!
-get upset and analyze what went wrong with the relationship. Within two weeks, you're crushing on someone better suited to you.

3. Your relationship with your parents is:
-pretty cool. You're honest with them, they trust you and when you mess up, they're fair about punishment.
-excellent! You know they're proud of you, and you try never to let them down.
-not great. You just can't seem to please them.

4. When you're alone, you feel:
-at ease--at least no one's bugging you.
-fine. You don't want to spend the rest of your life locked in your room by yourself, but solo moments are cool to collect your thoughts.
-OK, but you think it's more fun to have people around

5. When your workload seems insurmountable, you:
-talk to your family and best friends about the stress--they're super supportive and helpful.
-grin and bear it! No use bringing yourself or other people down with your probs.
-rant and rave to get all your frustration out.

6. Your productivity level is:
-so-so. You'll blow stuff off if you're not in the mood to do it.
-great! You get right to your chores and assignments so you can do a good job and really enjoy your free time when you're done.
-good. Work gets done, you see your friends, do your extracurricular stuff--but sometimes your plate gets too full.

7. You think that parties and big get-togethers are:
-a lot of work, but if you're dressed OK and people are receptive, you can shake your self-consciousness.
-generally great, though sometimes you'd rather hang with just one
-a blast. Your friends are cool, and you're always open to meeting new people.

8. When you look in the mirror, you:
-are pleased. You try to look your best, and you think the results are pretty good!
-focus immediately on your flaws: Those pimples! Those thighs! That humongous nose! Sometimes you just can't ignore them.
-are satisfied with your appearance. You've got assets and flaws like anyone else.

9. When it comes to crushing on guys, you:
-aim high--nobody's out of your league.
-hope for the best (true romance) but prepare for the worst (a broken heart).
-will go after someone who seems interesting...and interested.

10. Other people see you as:
-a decent, honest, friendly person.
-a total team player--fun, enthusiastic, full of energy.
-a little aloof.

Mostly Miserable
Like everyone else, you've got some problems and your life
isn't perfect. But instead of dealing and moving on, you
dwell on the downside, making that part of your identity.
"This type of person often plays the 'yeah, but' game: When
someone points out the positive, she'll inevitably find and
focus on the negative. Low self-esteem may be at the root
of your unhappiness. How can you feel good about
anything if you don't feel good about yourself? When you're
deep in the pits, you might not be able to see yourself
clearly, so get a friend, a teacher you respect or a family
member to shout out your good points. Say to them, I'm
working on increasing my self-esteem but have a hard time
seeing the value in me. Would you let me know what makes
you want to be my friend? Or what makes me a good
student?'. Their responses will put you on the road to
feeling more positive about who you are. Then you can
work on making your life happier.

Considerably Contented
You're not only pretty happy, you're also pretty healthy!
You're realistic and grounded--you don't walk around with
your head in the clouds since you believe life here on earth
is cool. You have your ups and downs, but you don't wallow
in the negative. If something bad happens--be it a low
grade or a brutal breakup--you confront the issue and
your feelings about it, discuss it with those you trust, think
about ways to feel better and then make a change. But
there's always room for you to evolve. Since you have a
handle on your strengths and weaknesses, you may be
reluctant to reach for new heights. You should always be
looking for new challenges. We all have a comfort zone, a
place where we feel at ease, but it's always good to test
yourself by stretching beyond that zone. Go ahead, take a
risk!

25-30
Beyond Blissful
You're the girl everyone wants to hang with. Your cheer,
energy and upbeat attitude are contagious! You're a
fearless optimist and you face the world with a smile,
confident about yourself, your abilities and your
relationships. Even when a problem arises, you naturally
find a positive spin. Just make sure you're being truthful
about your feelings. Sadness and anger are part of being
human. Nobody is 100 percent happy 100 percent of the
time, but people who seem that way may be faking it a bit.
You might be trying to fool yourself, pretending things are
OK when they're not. It's important to realize that people
will love you even if you reveal some of your more painful
feelings. You're entitled to a full range of emotions, so
don't
stifle them.
