“Damn it, Goku. That was for me!” Gojyo pointed to the empty brownie plate.
“I didn’t eat. The plate was empty when I got here. Besides, you’re name wasn’t on it.”
“So you did eat it. You owe me one brownie.”
A newspaper rustled. “Idiots! Why do you think you get to have the last piece of anything?”
Gojyo and Goku scrutinized Sanzo’s face.
“Sanzo didn’t eat it,” Goku said.
“Yeah. No crumbs.”
A newspaper struck them both.
Goku scrunched up his face, thinking. “Do you think Hakkai ate the brownie?”
“Nah.”
Hakkai walked into the kitchen, licking his fingers.
