Juliet's eyes were fixed on Jack who was smiling up to her while the crowd around him hailed her enthusiastically.
She was where she'd always wanted to be, but she knew she wouldn't have done it without Jack. He had kept her going even in her darkest hours. He was the reason she was standing up here, receiving her doctorate.
Her hands were shaking and she could hardly breathe but seeing Jack in the middle of the crowd, his lips forming a proud smile, calmed her - as always - and she realized she had never loved him more than right now.
