It had been such a shame to put sweaty running clothes back on over clean skin, but at least it wasn't a long walk home. The ends of her red hair were still dripping when she walked through the door. Banon came running as Charlie toed out of her shoes. It had been a few days, and she's not even entirely used to being back yet

"Fuddy duddy?"

Ianto had just stepped out of the 'library', a book in hand, as Charlie stepped in. "I must have heard you wrong. Old man hearing and all. What did you really call me?" he teased.

"Oh, you heard me," said Charlie, standing up and pulling a face at him. "You don't miss a trick, Ianto Jones, and you know it."

She twisted her damp hair up from the nape of her neck.

"I went for a swim after my run."

"So I noticed," he said, setting aside the book so he could encircle her waist with his arms. "I don't miss a trick, after all. Did you want to get out of those dirty clothes, then?"

"I kinda do," admitted Charlie, pressing every inch of damp skin against him.

"I've got something to tell you, so I'll change, you listen, 'kay?"

She grinned at him and stretched up to kiss the corner of his mouth.
