It sounds so fun, Kate. I love the name of the hostel, I imagine really happy Dutch people reassuring you that your stay will be okay.

At least now we know that America is not the only country with a phallic monument.

That's the hostel I stayed in! I felt it was a little overwhelmingly large. A 500 bed hostel can hardly count as a hostel at that point. But you're right, it's well stocked and clean and they work well with American tourists (being run by an American company and all).
