The sight that greeted Haru as he approached Shigure’s house had him covering a smile.
The death glare being sent his way by his most volatile cousin, daring him to say a word, was not unusual. He had learned to see beneath it long ago. He could see the faint lines of contentment under the bristling attitude that was practically snarling ‘I’m only putting up with this because I have no choice’.
As he joined his cousins and Tohru on the porch, he let his fingers pet Kisa. “The pink clashes with his hair, Kisa. Maybe you should have used blue.”
