Amazing! I just started reading this on a whim (found the link on GOS), and ended up spending the entire night reading. I even got my girlfriend addicted.
I must admit, when I clicked the link I was preparing myself for something. . . juvenile, but I love the story! I myself do not have the patience or skill to pull it off, especially things like the beach scenes.
My only complaint is that I think I've already figured it out, and I'm really hoping you'll surprise me. ;-)

*sigh* Vampire stories do have a certain reputation. It does take patience, but its mostly fun and it has gotten easier as more hacks and things have come out since I started, but you are right, its probably not everyone's cup of tea.
Its not so much the figuring out as having fun as they all fit back together, so hopefully I can keep you entertained while we get there.
Hopefully not too long before I do, I try and keep it on a schedule, but its way too hot here right now and my brain has gone on a holiday :P
There's something that I've always wondered about this story but that I never remember to ask--
What sort of accent should I be hearing in my head when your characters speak? Their dialects don't always seem uniformly English or uniformly American so this has always been a puzzlement to me.
Its a bit of a mix really, but that comes from me living in the US, UK and now here in Oz, my husband and I are always getting puzzled looks as people try and figure out where we are from because we both have a blend of all three. Daniel's is Australian but posh, and leans towards a southern English accent, Kieran is Irish, Isobel is from Yorkshire, Josephine is Québécois, and Olivia is from London, but all the vamps have been in Australia for over a century so the accents are a bit watered down. Katia, Sophie and Max are all Australian, but you can put whatever voices to them you wish.
Great chapter, and well done for working with all of those pose hack thingies :) As soon I've got everything re-installed I'll have to hunt down all that I've missed!
There's definitely more to Katia than any of us realised - readers and fellow characters alike - and I love the way you've slowly built up to her abilities showing themselves, rather than introducing them in a clump.
Sophie will be really ticked off about Max, but will it be due to the fact that he was working for Olivia rather than being dead (or more dead than he was already)? Can't wait to find out.

I have been trying to slip them in for quite a bit, little glimpses now and again but there was a change just recently that brought them out fully, but we will have more on that soon.
I'll just have to go with Sophie will be less than impressed with the whole shebang.
