So, now he's getting ready to tell her what's going on? And I can understand about Sophie being upset. That would be like a blow to the face wouldn't it? Realizing that the person you thought you know....you didn't actually know at all! *shakes head*

I think the operative word is definitely 'play' - it wasn't very convincing and no special powers were necessary to work that out :P

Its about time, but its also not going to be happy fun times either. For Sophie its all falling apart, she was sort of put on a pedestal and it all just got yanked away from her.

hey hey. yay, some insight is on it's way! the conversation between the daniel and katia made me smile, i just love the dynamic between them. and i am beginning to feel a teensy lickle bit of sympathy for sophie - being a vampire isn't exactly working out as hunky dory as she seemed to think it would.

and i love that he corrected her grammar!"whom." i do that the whole time, it annoys the hell out of everyone.

Yep some of those murky threads are about to get joined up! I really had to put my foot down with them this time - they always prefer to fight everything out. I certainly feel sorry for her, she is a bit of a brat, but they made her think she was something really special and its all just been pulled out from under her.

Its such a Daniel thing to do for that same reason.

Daniel didn't do so badly this time - or at least he didn't get staked with a chopstick! Wonder how Katia will feel when he tells her the whole story, and if she'll even believe him? She may have thought he was making things up in the past, but now that she's aware of her powers maybe she'll be more accepting of the facts, however upsetting the truth will be.

Poor Kieran will have his work cut out :D And I'm very intrigued by what's happening in the first two shots from 1832. A clue maybe ...

Haha, yeah he survived, but he so overplayed it. Its going to be messy I'm afraid.

The first two shots are Kieran looking in on his son and son's family. Its the life he missed out on, and just a little insight about why he deals with Sophie the way he does.

I feel like Daniel and Kieran haven't been treating Katia and Sophie like adults or even like people. They've been kidnapped and manipulated, tossed back and forth, kept in line by threats. And Daniel's sudden niceness is just such horse shit. He only cares about Katia in as much as he can use her. Kieran seems to think of Sophie as a pet that he only kinda sorta likes. Their lives are ruined. It makes me wonder if they would have chosen this (if they had the choice) over just letting Olivia find them.

Very true on all points save maybe Kieran. He does treat Sophie a bit like a child, but he does care genuinely for her, as if she were his own daughter. Its just his way to be a bit pompous and aloof, and to also handle Daniel in a very particular way (Daniel likes to be in control, but Kieran is his sire, so is by that right the one who should be calling the shots).
