Why don't I trust Sophie? Like this was Daniel's fault? He's not alone in this, and he's certainly not her parent. Too bad he's standing the closest to her desire to blame someone. :p
Aww, he's all fresh-faced and bright-eyed, but I know, you like the ones that look like they are bad for you.
Sophie is a bit on the unpredictable side for sure. He's in the middle of it all, things just revolve around the actions he has been taking so it makes him a target.
Gah! So late! I read this and then got distracted! Sorry!
Daniel looks good in the 40's. So happy and carefree! Lily was good for him eh? And he was such a sweetie! I liked the flashback. It rounded him out! Made him even more complex!
Katia was annoying! Blah! But Daniel had to know that she would say something negative so this just gave him a reason to be snarky back! Those two...
Ohhh...sisters together? *rubs hand in anticipation!*
Daniel in a cardigan, that's just too good! :D:D:D Auch, Katia's comment about 'another dump' must've really stung. I'm glad Sophie is there, you know I was worried she'd get herself in some kind of danger, I feel she's much safer with someone keeping an eye on her. Daniel will be leaving now, no? I wonder where he'll go and what for. :D Gosh, even I'm starting to get annoyed with Katia's whole 'holier then you' attitude, no wonder Daniel has to get away from her neverending nagging a bit.
He does plan to leave, I think the two of them could use a time out anyway. Her comment would have really stung, but he does know what she is like and still decided this was the place he wanted to take her to, so had to have been anticipating something. We should get a better feel for all that in the next couple of updates.
I too only caught up on this recently and adore it. The flashbacks to Daniel and Lilly add so much depth to the story and I relish then even when I'm dying for more to happen currently.
This story is so well written and the pictures compliment it perfectly. It's truly excellent.

She certainly showed him he was capable of love and being loved, but at the same rate it also made him a bit more bitter when it came to an end.
He did expect the worst, it still stung, but it gives him an excuse for something a bit later.
Yes *evil laugh*
