I loved chatrooms. Who didn't? Especially video ones.
I sat at the computer desk, typing away furiously, knowing I was being watched. I loved it. It was kind of thrilling.
The sound of RingDingDong played through my speakers and in one video, a girl was dancing to it.
I had my glowsticks in my hands and the lights turned down low and I waved them to the music, just like at a concert.
Soon, I noticed a video in the corner that looked slightly familiar.
"KiBummiee!!" I said aloud, tossing the glowsticks on my desk and glaring into my screen to see if I was correct. Seconds later, "DongHae hyung??" Yup, sounded like him.
MasterFisher says: Our Kim KiBum is being found in CHATROOMS of all places?? I would have thought the MIA SuJu member would be doing something actually worthwhile. XP
I watched as an insulted look crossed his face.

Instantly, the screen was covered.

I stopped tapping the closed fan against my neck and stopped singing Dot, Dot, Dotdotdot.
"Indeed I do, Kim KiBum.... you know, this is kind of violating. You can see me, I can't see you. Where are you? Are you well? I think you should come back, our little runaway maknae. We can make you dinner, what do you like? I don't remember ever seeing you eat actually. Is that why you never talk? Don't have the energy or sugar power to think of words? I'm sorry, that was mean. Eat well, Kim KiBum. Itadakimasu. You know that, right? I was told you've been learning Japanese? Maybe not. I don't remember. Are you listening? Did you leave again, silent ninja? When will I see you again? Did I already ask that? How did I learn how to ramble???" I stared wide-eyed at the screen and then realized something. "I guess I miss you more than I thought, Kim KiBum." I quickly covered my mouth as I realized what I'd said as an afterthought. I hoped he was taking a bathroom break.
No such luck. His camera came back on. "Hyung?" Silence. Everyone else had either muted us or was ignoring us. Nice people. "I'm currently making my way home. I'm well. I'll be back very soon. I'd love to be made a dinner. I like stir-fry and rice. I'm just shy, hyung. Itadakimasu. Yea, I'm trying to learn. I was listening, I didn't leave. You did already ask, and I said soon. You learned to ramble from our HeeCherella. I always knew I missed you Lee Donghae..."
MasterFisher says: ...I don't think I've ever heard you say so much... was it hard? O.o

I cocked my head to the side in confusion. Did I miss something?
SilentNinja says: Answer the door. I BE HERE!
I looked to his little window and BAM. He was in our hallway. He had his fingers in the peace sign. I heard a small knock and bolted from my chair, past Kang-In getting up to answer it, ignored the rude comment yelled to me, and yanked the door open.
There he stood and I about rammed him into the wall in a bone crushing hug, wrapping my legs tightly around his waist. He'd DEFINITELY been smart enough to carefully place the laptop on the ground. "Kim KiBum!" I smiled into his shoulder and breathed in the scent of his new cologne, taking in all the new things about him.
"Good god, DongHae! Don't kill the man the second he gets back!" Kang-In yelled at me as he tried to yank me off KiBum.
"It's fine Kang-In hyung. He just missed me is all. I don't mind." he chuckled as he helped support my weight with his arms around my waist. "Can you grab one of my bags?" he asked Kang-In. He huffed but grabbed one anyway, helping us inside, shutting the door quietly.
"Who was it Kang-In?" I heard EeTeuk yell from the living room where some of the others were. We made it there and some of them gasped as they saw their MIA member back home again. "KiBummie!!" He took the time to place me lightly on the couch and then the others took their turns hugging him, welcoming him back.
"I'm finally done filming my movie. I hope you'll all enjoy it." He smiled as they praised him and promised to see it the day it came out.
After all the hype and excitement settled down, he placed himself next to me on the couch and cuddled up to my arm. I wasn't going to complain.
"So... stir-fry and rice, then?" he asked quietly and I happily bounced up, dragging him with me to go to the store.
It was good to have him home again.
Later:::
"Oh... Hyung... You know I was still in the chatroom when you greeted me, didn't you?"
Oops. Wonder what kind of scandal we'll have going now.
"Let's go look!" he followed me to his deserted laptop placed on the dining room table, still propped open. Our faces were both shown in the little screen.
