Ian didn’t try to hide. No-one would expect to see him at a Players gig anyway. But then no-one would expect to see him and Paul go home together holding hands. He watched as Paul got down off the stage and a young woman came over to him, throwing her arms around his body. He looked bemused but not repulsed by her overfamiliarity. She kissed his cheeks, leaving her lips there for too long then skipped off to her friends giggling. He smirked and Paul’s eyes met his. Ian mimed his words, rolling his eyes. “Oh, yes, I’m sooooo jealous….”
