More on Geekery
Second post, well on the way to a health LJ addiction. Been thinking more about the geek thing. I had thought recently that being a geek had become more acceptable in recent years, maybe even "cool" in some ways... We have films like Napoleon Dynamite which absolutely reek of geekery and people just eat it up

People don't change much, its true. Human nature... once we hit about 13 or 14, we've shaped most of our opinions already and it takes a hell of alot to really change those viewpoints and ways of thinking. They should all get a pet llama! It might lighten them up having a pissed off furry mammal spit at them for no apparent reason. Might challenge their concepts of things a little. Or maybe there'll just be more angora sweaters on the market!
