Warnings: none
Notes: This is so short, argh. My muse hasn't been very cooperative of late.

Two A.M. and the clock still reads "working" when Harry walks into the kitchen for a glass of water. Percy spares him the briefest glance of acknowledgment and no words, but Harry feels pretty good about it anyway, because he's pretty sure there aren't too many people who'd even get that much. Glass in hand, Harry leans against the kitchen counter as he drinks, watching over the rim of the glass the loops of the quill, the little wrinkle of Percy's brow as he concentrates, the way he catches his lower lip between his teeth. Percy's glasses start to slide down his nose as he bends closer to the parchment, and slender fingers impatiently push them back up again, and Harry thinks Percy has a kind of charm that no one really notices.

"Still working?"

"Obviously," Percy retorts snappishly.

"It's after two," Harry answers quietly, unfazed. "You should get some sleep."

"It is?" Percy sounds surprised, and looks at his watch, and Harry wonders if anyone ever bothers to tell him things like get some sleep, relax, calm down. No seems to bother much with Percy at all.

"Yeah."

"Oh." A pause, and Percy sets aside his quill and shuffles his parchments into a neat stack. "Goodnight, Harry."

"Night, Perce," Harry murmurs, and watches him head to his room.
