Summary: Quirrel was always caught in the middle.
Author's Notes: The prompts in my table are being used for a series of unrelated drabbles based on a specific Death Eater. Every Death Eater will be used, and some will have more than one fic written on them.
Quirrel was always stuck in the middle. A quiet man, fascinated yet terrified by the Dark Arts. He remembered being at school and learning of the Imperius Curse. He coudn't help but wonder what that felt like, to have someone control you, dominate you.
How wonderfully refreshing.
But Quirrel soon found that being controlled by another was far from refreshing, or wonderful. He later wished, many times, that he could be seperate from the Dark Lord, be alone again. But of course, he had no choice on the matter. He didn't want to be so close, but he didn't want to be out of the Lord's favour. And so Quirrel, once again, was caught in the middle.
