You'd be surprised - there's actually quite a bit of work for stunt folk around here, particularly stilt, aerial, and acrobatics. Learning silks or stunts in general is a REALLY useful thing.
Why on earth they'd have you roll is beyond me - even the Treasures just have to swing out on the boom.
I know! There's a lot to be done, but especially at like Disney or Universal it would be useful to know it. I kind of want to ask Ember if she could ever teach me, 'cause... I want to devote a pay check to circus stuff like spinning plates, and stuff.. but I really, really want to take an aerial class, but I need a friend to go with me. I'd absolutely love to learn.
And, I don't know! I can do it, and we did the dive rolls and all that jazz for Barnum, but I can't do a handstand (that I know of), and I didn't want to not be able to do one of the things, and once I realized they had the girls doing it I was like 'nope'. I don't understand.. other than just generalized strength tests? I think I'll work out and try back with that eventually.
Ah, I helped my friend Toby out with a photo shoot there, and TJ was supervising maybe? But that's where I met him.
