Dark Schneider lounged in his chair, ignoring the men around him. Theoretically, this was a surrender meeting. The men at the table were doing their best to hold onto their dignity as Abigail and Kall-Su forced their submission in every major issue they had. He could have joined the negotiations, if he'd wanted to. Despite everything he said and did, he was much more intelligent than he was given credit for, and his compatriots knew it.
Instead, he sat back, grinning as he stroked the woman sent to serve him. She'd been scared at first, sure he was going to use her cruelly, but Dark Schneider was no rapist, and she'd slowly realized this. He hadn't quite succeeded in his seduction yet, but he was close. He could nearly taste it.
"Don't forget! I want access to any woman I desire!" He declared during a lull in the conversation.
Abigail rolled his eyes as Kall-Su blushed. Only just past a teenager, he'd been with Dark Schneider for over a dozen years. His connection to his lord kept him young, their bond a unique one. It was something that kept DS grounded, kept him from going too far, from becoming too callous. It was possibly the only thing that kept DS from ruling the world completely. But a world ruled by DS, by a Dark Schneider without that tie to a mortal would be... It wouldn't be good. So Kall-Su remained connected to him, remained young, and somehow, despite all he had seen and done, retained a piece of his innocence.
The men at the other side of the table sputtered and started to stand, but sat down quickly when Dark Schneider summoned a fireball in his hand. It cost him some of the trust he'd earned with the woman next to him, but he'd gain that back. The men back down and nodded, giving DS his way.
Dark Schneider always got his way.
Hands up, baby, hands up,
Gimme your heart, gimme, gimme your heart
Gimme gimme
Hands up, baby, hands up,
Gimme your heart, gimme, gimme
All your love,
All your love.
DS grinned at the chaos he'd created. He loved this madness, this insanity. It got him fired up like nothing else on this ridiculous planet could. The fires, the screaming, the destruction... It made him feel and he craved that.
There was a certain amount of emotion he got through his connection with Kall-Su. And that was important too. He was missing a piece of himself, a piece that had been torn away violently when the world had ended those hundreds of years ago. A part that had been lost in reincarnation, lost to him forever it seemed. He'd finally found a replacement of sorts in Kall-Su, and that was important. He needed that.
He'd spent his life dedicated to gaining power, to gaining the knowledge and strength necessary to finally defeat the God Of Destruction. Anthrax, he knew, was out there, would be coming for him, and he wanted to have the upper hand this time. He didn't tell anyone but Kall-Su this. Abigail already knew, somehow. DS didn't question it, but he knew Abigail understood more than he ever spoke about. Arshes was too young still, and even when she grew older, DS knew he could never explain his reasoning to her. She was to be protected, and if that meant she never quite understood what was going on, so much the better.
Dark Schneider was close now. He could feel it. And this time, the release of Anthrax would be on his terms. He'd force the enemy's hand, and this time, he would win.
But first, he had some seduction to do.
"Hey, babe! Come to me!"
Angel face, I love your smile,
Love your ways, I like your style.
What can I do to get closer to you?
Don't think twice or count to ten.
Don't take advice, don't ask me when.
Just come my way, simply kiss me and say:
Hands up, baby, hands up, ...
No defeat was ever final, not when it was Dark Schneider on the losing side. His compatriots had forgotten that, had forgotten that he couldn't actually die. His body could be destroyed, certainly, but he couldn't actually die. Not permanently. He wasn't created to be able to die. So he didn't understand when they were surprised at his return. He didn't respond to the claims that he had changed. There wasn't a point. It was obvious he'd changed, and he knew it. But he couldn't believe the people who were closest to him, who had followed him without question for so many years didn't believe he would find a way to return.
But there was a difference this time around. He'd not realized it when he'd first been resurrected, but he understood now. He watched her as she walked around him, completely oblivious as near as he could tell. With his loud proclamations, he knew she wasn't completely ignorant. And he was sure she got jealous when he paid attention to other women. But she refused to acknowledge him, and he was frustrated with it. It was the first time a woman hadn't responded to his advances positively. Everyone eventually fell to his charms. It was only a matter of time.
With your head up in the sky,
Every day you're walkin' by,
Why don't you have the stars looking at me?
Stop that game, don't waste your time,
For all your dreams are matchin' mine,
No use to play hide n seek for a week.
Hands up, baby, hands up, ...
"Hey, Yoko-san."
No response.
"Yoko-san!"
Dark Schneider knew she could hear him. Her eyebrow was twitching in that way that meant he was about to get smacked. But dammit. She's interrupted him with his newest conquest, and now he wanted attention. He hadn't gotten any action since he'd been resurrected, and it was getting to him. He was sick to death of her getting in the way of his sex life.
"Yoko! Pay attention to me! Stop playing around!"
He ducked his head, avoiding the worst of the blow. It wasn't as hard as it could have been, and DS grinned. She was slowly conceding him the victory.
"Come on, Yoko-san. Please?"
Let me be your Romeo, your wonder boy,
And your super champ.
Let me take you to the milky way
On a holiday, (on a holiday)
Follow me (follow me)
why don't you follow me (why don't you follow me)?
Just come my way simply kiss me and say:
Hands up, baby, hands up, ...
She sighed, and looked at him. "What, Lucien?"
"You haven't let me do anything in a week!"
"It's not my fault you're a horn dog. You need to learn restraint! Women don't like men like you!" Yoko rolled her eyes and turned back to her work.
DS just shook his head. She had no idea, of course, but she was an innocent in so many ways. He was her hero, whether she admitted it or not. He was the savior of her home, her kingdom, and the lives of everyone she knew. And all he wanted, more than anything else, was her. He wanted her surrender, to him and to his power.
He had conquered kingdoms, brought rulers to their knees, and destroyed the world. He was feared by man and beast alike, recognizable by his spells alone, and infamous for his exploits. If the Explosive Wizard, the great Dark Schneider wanted something, he always got it.
Yoko's surrender would come eventually.
