[Step-by-step series] Japanese Input Options

Nov 12, 2006 08:49

I've been claiming that sites such as Kinokuniya's Bookweb or Jim Breen's Dictionary use Japanese input to search a lot of times. Since I say this as a given, I figure I should ensure that anyone can get into Japanese Input Options on either a Mac or PC computer. Hence this step by step guide.

Good on you - the IME option is really quite useful, yet so many people seem to want to go the NJStar route. NJStar isn't bad, but it's nicer when it's integrated with the OS ( ... )

Wai~, thank you so much for this! It's really helpful.

Oh, and just to let you know - on my computer (like I said before, I use XP), on the Control panel "Date and Time" and "Regional Settings and Language" are separate categories, for whatever reason. *shrug* But it's not like that makes it any more difficult to figure out, it just takes an extra ten seconds or so to find it. :P Still, I thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to add a note or something. ^^

Thanks again!
