I think Toushirou would be the only one to surprise people (just take a look at that icon up there in the entry...), but Renji would come as no surprise. Anyone who knows him knows he's both shy and very outgoing at the same time. LOL *huggles the red pineapple*

I honestly think this pairing would work if Toushirou were slightly older than he is. (Just can't do the shota thing, sorry.)

If he were older... Toushirou would so totally make Renji his bitch. LOL I honestly think this pairing would work if circumstances were tweaked, you know? Renji greatly admires Byakuya for being all noble and dignified, and Toushirou has that, too. I can see Shiro being attracted to Renji for being wild and edgy, exciting that passion deep down within him. The author of Bleach himself had used the words "frozen passion" to describe Toushirou. Renji would be perfect for melting him from the inside out, and Toushirou would be perfect for keeping Renji's wildfire emotions in check. They balance each other out.

Oh yeah, I, too, would love to braid Renji's hair!!! LOL You're so totally right - everyone wants to!
